FAQS - Name Change

Q1 - Will the federal non-profit id stay the same?

A1 - Yes the only change is the name, our FEIN and addresses are the same.

Q2 - Have we changed our focus on faith and the transformational power of God?

Q2 - No, If anything we are depending even more as we dream bigger. The model was set in Acts to wait on being empowered as we can’t do it on our own.

Q3 - Why the change?

A3 - We wanted a name that helps explain what we do and will be found in searches.

Q4 - Will this impact any of my giving records?

A4 - No the background system and data is not changed.

Q5 - Should I change the name on checks to Haiti Empowered?

A5 - Yes, the banks have been notified to accept either name but it is much better to have the registered name.

Q6 - Will I get emails and the electronic newsletter from the Haitiempowered.org emails?

A6 - Yes, we changed them but may have missed one so if you happen to get an email from the missione4.com email let us know.

Q7 - Are we still faith based, with a mission?

A7 - Absolutely (see question #2), nothing changes in that regard. We are even listed as a missionary with MFI that flys in supplies.
