School History

In the early days of Haiti Empowered's transformative journey, this location stood out as a beacon of hope. In 2005, it had the distinction of being the very first place where Haiti Empowered introduced a mission team. By 2006, Haiti Empowered was ardently supporting the Lacul school and the local Pastor who ran the school in the area. Yet, challenges loomed. The area's vulnerability and the pastor's limited resources threatened the school's very existence. On the brink of closure, Haiti Empowered stepped in, casting a lifeline to the school. Today, thanks to this unwavering support, the school stands tall, and countless children continue to reap the benefits of quality education.
