Mr Obnel and Madam Christella Désir.

They have been married for 8 years. They are still praying for the day that a son or daughter will be added to their family!

Christella is a young woman who has always lived in Cassangne. When Pastor Bazile started his ministry in this community, Christella began staying in our orphanage. She loved serving God and the people in the ministry. She didn’t have a mother or a father. She is truly an orphan that God cared for. She embraced the love extended to her and wanted to walk with Jesus.

When she met Obnel it was obvious God was continuing to provide. They fell strongly in love and were engaged in marriage. Christella was in charge of Christella's restaurant. Now she is working in our clinic.

Her husband Obnel was working in the mission as a high school principal, but now he has become the Inspector (Superintendent) for all of our schools. His commitment to excellence and hard work made it clear he deserved this recent promotion.

Christella is allergic to everything from the sea but they like to eat rice and beans and vegetables a lot. They love songs that say “God is everything to us”.

Many young people's lives have been transformed thanks to the ministry in Cassagne. They want to thank all those who support the work in Haiti.
