For over 20 years, Haiti Empowered has served faithfully in the Leogane region of Haiti. We've weathered storms—both natural and man-made—alongside the Haitian people. But today, the crisis is deeper than ever.

More than 90% of Haiti’s capital is now controlled by violent gangs. Over 1.4 million people have fled their homes, many with nothing but what they can carry. They arrive in places like Leogane—tired, traumatized, and unsure of what’s next.

But in the villages where we serve, they encounter something unexpected: peace. They hear children laughing. They see people worshiping. Even in makeshift shelters and poverty, there's joy, dignity, and hope.
